'Ferropolis City of Steel' peninsula,  site of the former Grafenhainichen strip mining operation in Germany. Some of the largest industrial machines from the mid twentieth century dominate a waterfront overlooking the now flooded coal field, where once small villages lay. Now a desolate landscape the overseers named Mad Max, Mosquito and Gemini attract enviromentalists and De Jays alike. The scene of 'Melt' one of the largest pop festivals in Europe. The surrounding land is now being converted back to nature.
